About the event

It's been 20 years of the DLH Funday, so of course we're throwing an absolute ripper to celebrate! Prepare yourselves, West Country madness is coming to London as Dean Lane Hardcore Fun Night takes over Sk8 Fry-Days on Friday November 15th!

Here's what's going down:

Pizza Tramp, Goatorcycle, The Broken Bones Gentlemen's Club and Los Savages are tearing up Tunnel 2 with a night of old school punk.

We're screening the London premiere of 'Nothing Meaner' - an independent documentary showcasing the history of Dean Lane skate park; a true love letter to the Deaner!

20 Fucking Beers Artshow are ruling things in the Gallery with a 20 years history of DLH Funday flyers, posters, photo galleries, decks, tees and stuff they didn't burn! Plus our mates at Lovenskate will be printing a special one off House of Vans DLH t-shirt!

Our usual Cash For Tricks is getting ramped up a notch with MC Joe Habgood bringing fun, grunt and devastation to the House of Vans bowl and park.

As always, it's all free, get ready for some real Deaner chaos!

For everyone who doesn't know, here's the history behind Dean Lane Hardcore:

Around 1999, Bedminster skate park had a major face-lift, some would say for the worse but it had a great effect on the scene. It got people back into the park and was another central spot for people to meet. This is where Dylan, Ross, Andy and various others created the DLH (Dean Lane Hardcore) crew, who were more into park skating and more into punk. This made the Bristol scene more varied and interesting. The Deaner has been DIY expanded with loving hands and concrete by the locals many time - wall rides a plenty! The best thing about the Deaner is the atmosphere, the DLH crew and of course the DLH Funday. Now celebrating twenty years of skating, drinking, burning stuff, punk rock, talking shit and breaking things.

Nothing meaner than the Deaner!
